About Me

I break things for a living.
Build them on weekends.

I work in cybersecurity at Baker Hughes, mostly inside Brinqa — vulnerability management, risk scoring, the stuff that keeps things from quietly falling apart. Day to day that means Qualys, BitSight, SecurityScorecard, and a lot of tickets.

Outside of work I build things. Web apps, Android tools, Figma mockups, whatever holds my attention. Python and Power Tools handle anything repetitive — I hate clicking the same button twice.

Lately I've been thinking a lot about AI and security — specifically how fast the attack surface is growing. When I need to stop thinking about it, I get on my bike and find a mountain road.

Beyond the Screen

The Explorer mode

When I'm not at a screen I'm usually on a bike, somewhere with bad roads and no signal. I started riding for the movement, kept at it for the photos, and now I mostly go because I get weird if I stay in the city too long.

Security work trains you to think about failure modes. Mountains have a lot of those. It's good practice.
